Hey, i was looking at distortion pedals not so long ago, i was looking at these pedals and tried them out, there ok, not amazing but ok. they are both made of plastic and seem quite flimsy, if your looking for a distortion pedal you should make it worth your while and save up for a bit and buy a boss pedal, there better quality and generally more reliable. there is the boss DS-1 http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetails.php?ProductId=127 the industry's best distortion pedal and for the metal alternative try the boss ML2 http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/ML-2/. the boss pedals will last you a life time. and will give a better sound than the Behringer. it's up to you though. i hope this helped.
