effects of changing to phosphor bronze strings from 80/20 bronze for Acoustic Guitar?
i just got my new set of elixir phosphor bronze nanoweb light acoustic guitar strings today. ive been currently using the elixir 80/20 bronze nanoweb lights. will there be any affect on the guitar..e.g. the neck... if i change the strings as i read in one site that the phosphor bronze pulls on the the bridge a bit more. or should it be alright, because i don't want to stuff up the neck of the guitar. thanks
You have nothing to worry about. Both are light gauge sets and while there may be some small variation in tension it's still well within the capacity of your neck and bridge.
